(still catching up) For week 2 we were doing Blocks #3 and #4.
Block #3: Basket
I really had fun with this one because it was a challenge. I had to applique the handle on, but I didn't want to have folded ends. So what I did was to sew one end of the handle into seam between the light and dark blue pieces. After I carefully pieced the block together, I then did a zig zag stitch to attatch the handle onto the light blue area.
Block #4: Basket Weave
This block was super easy to make. I matched the color fabric with the colors in the book. This would make a pretty quilt in itself.

I've just gone through your posts to see all your FWQ blocks. I really like that you're doing it in solids. I'll look forward to seeing how they all come together.
