Oh the peer pressure was so great that I caved in and agreed to Swoon-along with the bossy quilters. Okay, well maybe that's a bit dramatic. I did already have the pattern and fabrics. It was on my to-do list. So what if I'm coming in about a month and half late!
Katy, that sassy lil monkey, started a lovely quilt along using the Swoon pattern in January. The goal was to complete a block a week (I believe). There are so many beautiful blocks and even an ugly block contest going on over at the Swoon-along Flickr group.
Here is my stack of fabrics. I'm using FQs from Kate Spain's Terrain collection on a Kona Black background. I've already picked out my 18 FQs, but lost the cord to my camera. :-(
There will also be another quilt-along starting mid-March using the Hopscotch and/or On a Whim patterns. So grab your pattern and fabric so you're ready to join us (or grab both...not like I have or anything...)! The FatQuarterShop has both of these patterns as paper or pdf. Plus an awesome selection of fabrics!

I love the swoon quilt and the Terrain is going to just POP with the black background. I have to admit I'm TOTALLY intrigued by the Hopscotch pattern though. That 'no y-seams' thing caught my eye! Haha!
