So I am NOT going to be last minute rushing this year to get Christmas presents finished! I have all my fabric together to make 3 quilts and finish the 4th.
For our Dad's, I am going to be making a quilt called "Going Home" by Maria Umhey from McCall's Quick Quilts July 2008 magazine. I am using Bali Batiks I purchased from Batiks by Design here in Ky (though she has had to cut her store back and no longer sales that Bali Batiks.)

For my Mother-in-law, I am making a cat quilt because she LOVES cats! The quilt I picked out to make is called "Let Sleeping Cats Lie" by Helene Knott. I purchased the kit from Stitchin Heaven in Tx. The fabric is beautiful! (I'd post a picture of it, but it is currently in the washing process. After it's washed, dried, and ironed, I'll post a picture.)
For my mom, I am going to be finishing her Wizard of Oz quilt. I finished the quilt top a long while ago, but never got around to finishing the quilt (I'm a lil embarrassed to admit).
Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to do for my sister and my brother-in-law and his family. I was thinking about this game quilt for my brother-in-law and his family because they have 3 kiddos. I would be a dual purpose quilt, both game board and keeping warm (though they do live in Tx and it doesn't really get too cold there).
