Scrap Vomit Update and Other Goodies

I have awesome friends who are helping me out by sending me some of their vomit! *giggles* Ok, I can't say Scrap Vomit without giggling. It's so much fun to say! Here's some of the vomit I received in the mail so far.

This vomit was from Brie (@LittleCreatable) in Australia.

This is from Jan (@SewSowinLove) in Arkansas.

These lovely little packages are from Tristan (@Trixy_Trisby) in Australia.

This stack of vomit is from Kristen (@kdquilts) in Tennessee.

I need to get a picture of the stack of my vomit that I have. I can't wait to get started on this quilt. It's going to be so much fun! BUT I need to get my other projects finished before I can start sewing these together.

I got these cute lil coffee lollipops from @RoadHomeQuiltn. We are going to have a lollipop tasting after the new Doctor Who tomorrow night. I can't wait to try them out. We were supposed to wait to open our packages, but I was just to excited and forgot. LOL oops!

I picked up my Girl's World book today. So many pretties to make for my lil girlies. I can't wait to get started!

I am going to join a Farmer's Wife Quilt Sampler QAL. Sadly though, B&N didn't have the book in stock and neither did the other local bookstore. So, I have ordered it and am waiting for it to get here. I already have the fabric I am going to use picked out. It is the same 1800s reproduction fabric I am going to use to make Sylvia's Bridal Sampler.

Beautiful Laminate from Sis Boom

I've always wanted to try out laminate fabrics, but just never got around to getting any. Then Jennifer Paganelli of Sis Boom sent me some beautiful laminate fabric from her Honey Child fabric line. How awesome! I am so nervous about cutting into it because it's just so pretty! I have a bunch of ideas flying around in my head on what to use it for. It's so hard to choose which one I will do first!

Have you worked with laminates before? Do you have any tips? Favorite patterns?

Jennifer also has a super cute book out (that is on my wish list). Since I have 2 lil girls this would be awesome. It has 21 sewing projects for lil girls. Click on the book image to get a sneak peek of the projects.
